We politely request all members, their guests & visitors note the points below when playing the course. Please report any errant shots leaving the course to the Pro-shop upon completion of their round. You are reminded that green keepers always have priority on the course.
1st Hole
Along the left hand side of this hole is the Canterbury Road, please take extra care whilst teeing off from this hole and be mindful of the road adjacent to this tee.
Please be aware of players on the 2nd tee.
2nd Hole
Please be aware of players on or waiting by the 1st tee.
Please be aware of people using the clubhouse and the patio area.
Behind the green be mindful of Domneva Road, be aware of pedestrians, cars, and the properties.
3rd Hole
When teeing off be mindful of players on the 18th hole in the hollow as they may not be visible. Walk forward to check if necessary.
Please respect the property adjacent to the green.
Behind the green be mindful of Hengist Road, be aware of pedestrians and cars. Please be aware of vehicles on the road when exiting the course to the 4th hole across the railway bridge. In winter months please clean your trolley wheels of excess mud before leaving the course.
4th Hole
Along the left hand side of this hole is a main railway line under no circumstances should players attempt to retrieve any balls from the tracks.
Please be aware of players on the adjacent fairway and extend courtesy to all players on the course. Priority is given to golfers playing the correct hole.
5th Hole
Be aware of players on the tee in front beyond the irrigation shed on the left hand side by the railway track.
Be aware of players using the half way house situated on the right hand side of this hole.
6th Hole
Along the left hand side of this hole is a main railway line under no circumstances should players attempt to retrieve any balls from the tracks.
Please be aware of players on the adjacent fairway and extend courtesy to all players on the course. Priority is given to golfers playing the correct hole.
When playing your approach shot to the green please be aware of golfers on the 7th tee.
7th Hole
Please respect the property adjacent to the green.
Please be aware of the allotments to the right of this hole and any errant shots into this area please shout loudly “fore allotments”
8th Hole
Please be aware of players on the adjacent fairways both left and right of this hole and extend courtesy to all players on the course. Priority is given to golfers playing the correct hole.
9th Hole
Please be aware of players on the adjacent fairways both left and right of this hole and extend courtesy to all players on the course. Priority is given to golfers playing the correct hole.
When playing your approach shot to the green please be aware of golfers on the 10th tee.
10th Hole
Please be aware of players on or waiting by the 11th tee.
11th Hole
Along the right hand side of this hole is Sea Road, before teeing off from this hole, please be aware of pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles on the adjacent road and pathways to the course players must wait to play their shot accordingly if they feel there is a risk hitting people.
Players attempting to reach the 11th green from this tee should ensure there are no players on the 10th tee, or on the 11th green.
12th Hole
Please be aware of players on the adjacent fairway and extend courtesy to all players on the course. Priority is given to golfers playing the correct hole.
When playing your approach shot to the green, please be aware of golfers on the 13th tee.
13th Hole
Along the left hand side of this hole is Dudley Avenue, please take extra care whilst teeing off from this hole and be mindful of the road adjacent to this tee.
The Club encourages golfers to support the Halfway House, however play should continue in a timely manner and due etiquette must be shown to those golfers that do not wish to stop and use this facility. Please keep the course tidy.
14th Hole
Along the left hand side of this hole is the Carlton Road West please take extra care whilst teeing off from this hole and be mindful of the road adjacent to this tee.
Please be aware of players on the adjacent fairway and extend courtesy to all players on the course. Priority is given to golfers playing the correct hole.
Please be aware of vehicles on the road when exiting the course to the15th hole across the railway bridge. In winter months please clean your trolley wheels of excess mud before leaving the course.
15th Hole
Along the right hand side of this hole is a main railway line under no circumstances should players attempt to retrieve any balls from the tracks.
16th Hole
Please be mindful when teeing off of the properties and gardens adjacent to the right hand side of this hole.
Behind the green is the Canterbury Road, please be mindful of when playing your approach shot to the green.
17th Hole
The green keepers shed is adjacent and on the right of this hole, please ensure you call “fore” loudly for errant shots.
Behind the green be mindful of Hengist Road, be aware of pedestrians and cars. Please be aware of vehicles on the road when exiting the course to the 18th hole in the main club house field. In winter months please clean your trolley wheels of excess mud before leaving the course.
18th Hole
Along the left hand side of this hole is the practice area, any errant shots into this area please shout loudly “fore practice”
When walking along the fairway, please be aware that when you are in the hollow, you may not be visible to players on the 3rd tee.
